- Only fill your cupboards and refrigerator with quality foods
- Try to eat at least 5 fresh seasonal vegetables a day
- Look for Organic options
- Look for food that has been locally grown/farmed, it has higher nutrient content
- Avoid all processed food
- If you can’t read the ingredients don’t buy it
- Try to eat the correct proportions of macronutrients for your body
- Try metabolic type testing to calculate the ideal ratio of Carbs : Protein : Fats for you
- Avoid hydrogenated fats
- Minimize your usage of sugar, salt and flour
